O-152 An International Review of the Bullet Impact Test

This document describes the results of an international review of the STANAG 4241 related to the bullet impact test. The purpose of this test is to assess the reaction of a munition attacked by a bullet.

To perform the review, MSIAC has created a questionnaire in conjunction with the custodian of this STANAG, Germany, and sent it to several test centers in most of the AC/326 nations. Moreover, an analysis of similar standards has been done in order to get more consistency in the recommendations.

This document provides an analysis of the answers received, summarizes best practice and provides some recommendations to amend the STANAG 4241.
