L-213 Material Parameters for IM related modeling and simulation efforts

This report documents MSIAC’s generation of a consolidated guide to energetic material parameters needed for typical IM modeling and simulation efforts. An explanation of tests and experiments to determine the parameters will also be included. The need for this guide was a direct output of the 2014 MSIAC Workshop on Shaped Charge Jet, which called for an international effort to identify, prioritize, and make progress toward standardizing material data. (See MSIAC limited report L-186.) This report documents and explains what parameters are needed, but does not attempt to populate those parameters with data for specific materials.
