L-184 Change1 MSIAC IM Technology GAPS Workshop - Output Sessions II and III on Munitions in Operations.

This chapter provides the proceedings for the working group on munitions in operations for both session II (Munitions in Operational Environment), and Session III (Mitigation in Operational Environment - Future Improvements). The group specifically focused on issues encountered to mitigate the munitions response to the three selected threats (Fragment Impact (FI), Shaped Charge (SC) and Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP).

The group also identified mitigation shortfalls from credible logistical and tactical scenarios addressed by the group based on current operations.  The group lastly assessed the probability of occurrence for these scenarios plus the severity of damage to personnel and property, and offered potential remediation options.
