L-151 DARTS – Database of Ammunition Reaction Trials to Shaped Charge Agression Version 1.0 User Guide
December 2009
Dr Pierre-François Péron (Warhead Technology) The Database of Ammunition Reaction Trials to Shaped charge aggression (DARTS) is currently available to MSIAC member nations and contains Shaped Charge Jet Impact (SCJI) test results. This application is developed in Excel2003 and runs on a personal computer in the Microsoft Windows environment (95/98/Millenium/NT/XP/Vista). It has been developed:
- to provide scientists and engineers with a tool easy to use and to update. It can be used to compare Shaped Charge Jet (SCJ) response of various formulations and/or to assess the effect of various parameters such as jet characteristics, munition case material or thickness, etc;
- to provide modelers with a flexible research tool containing data required to validate models and include references;
- to provide data on systems response to shaped charge aggression.
