(U) This paper comprises two parts, the first provides a very brief overall summary of the recent NIMIC workshop on IM design technology, the second provides a review of the current status of IM technology for solid propellant tactical rocket motors and incorporates much of the information discussed at the workshop. The focus of the second part is on IM technology that has been fielded or is in advanced stages of development.
