MSIAC Workshop: Pushing the Limits – Performance and Safety

MSIAC is happy to announce its next workshop, Pushing the Limits – Performance and Safety.

In recent years, MSIAC has noticed a shift in the focus of research within the community with a greater focus being applied to increasing or improving the performance of our munition systems. This is a change from the many years of focus on implementation of Insensitive Munitions and reducing munition vulnerability with regards to accidents or enemy action. Coupled with world events, the need for improved performance presents challenges to the community with regards to the currently accepted levels of safety, legislation or regulations regarding Insensitive Munition implementation and risk acceptance. MSIAC will explore these topics and more within the context of workshop this September.
