L-195 State of the Art Overview of Cook Off Simulation

This document compiles work among MSIAC and NATO member nations over the last 20 years in the field of munition cook-off simulation.  We have collected representative publications, papers, presentations, and other information on the topic, provide a cursory analysis of the breadth of efforts, provide some details on the models and codes used, and present some discussion-starter questions that revealed themselves during this endeavour. The collected literature can be found as an annex to this report on the MSIAC Sharefile drive. This effort is part of the preparation for the MSIAC Cook Off workshop held in Atlanta, 25 to 29 April 2016.
