The principal aim of the workshop was to provide to the MSIAC nations a status report summarising the current knowledge in the field of the effect of ageing upon insensitive munitions. Secondary aims of the workshop are to:
- Increase collaboration, information sharing and co-operation in the field of lifecycle assessment of IM;
- Commence development of a new STANAG aimed to standardised the analysis of Ageing of PBXs;
- Identify future areas of development, gaps in knowledge and options to fill these gaps.
