L-075 A Proposed NIMIC Cost and Benefit Analysis Model (CBAM)

The NIMIC Cost and Benefit Analysis Model (CBAM) is designed to aid in the assessment of the cost and benefits of introducing IM into service. Creation of such a model is a goal of NIMIC and is identified in its strategic plan. The workshop participants will generate an agreed list of requirements for such a tool. The purpose of this paper is to describe a prototype tool, which should prove to be a useful starting point to which the workshop recommendations can be added.
