L-068 Risk Workshop: An Introduction to the Cost Benefit Analysis Workshop

NIMIC is organising a workshop, entitled Assessing the Risk and Cost Benefits Associated with the Introduction of IM, which will be held in 2 parts:

• Part 1, the Risk issue, will be held in Ottawa, Canada, 6 -10 November 2000
• Part 2, the Cost Benefit Analysis of the Introduction of IM, will be held in June 2001 at a place to be defined.

Although the Risk workshop could obviously be self-sufficient because of the important tasks to be discussed by the participants, this paper presents the link between the two parts of the workshop and the preliminary tasks of the risk part, which should be fulfilled as an introduction to the cost benefit analysis part.
